Over the years, the corner shop on Moreland Road & Queen Street, since becoming Saks Salons, has been my happy place in times of challenges and darkness. The support and love I have received here, have meant everything to me.
It is with a heavy heart as I officially announce the closure of Saks Salons and prepare to say goodbye after 13 wonderful years together. I have cherished every moment spent with each and every one of you, and it is not without a great deal of sadness that I make this decision.
While it can be difficult to depart from a contented state, it is necessary to embrace innovation and progress.I am thrilled to announce that I am embarking on a new journey with my new business that I’ve been working on for the past three years Kuaför (kwa-FUR) an online platform that connects Hair & Beauty Salon Owners who want to rent out their unused space & facilities with Freelance Hair & Beauty Professionals who are looking for on-demand Salon Space and Facilities in specific locales to work their Beauty Business independently.

With this new role, I will be consulting and mentoring salon owners and freelance hair and beauty professionals to help them achieve the success that I have had with my salon here at Saks. As a salon owner myself, I understand the challenges that come with building and growing a business. However, I have also experienced the joy and fulfilment that comes with seeing my salon succeed, and I want to share that feeling with salon owners and freelancers in this dynamic industry.
